Surfing

From easy locations suitable for beginners and mid level surfers to the very challenging waves at Playa Herradura, many surfing aficionados come from all over the world to surf the waves on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica.
Deep Sea Fishing
Few places in the world provide the excitement of deep sea fishing like Costa Rica. Experience the great excitement of catching 100 pound beautiful Sailfish (catch and release), or catch dinner….Mahi Mahi, tuna are in abundance in the calm warm waters off the Pacific Coast. Your castle staff can arrange an easy day trip with experienced Captains with boats from 30 to 80 feet. A member of our Castle staff (bi-lingual) can accompany you and bring along snacks, lunch and beverages for an exciting day. If you want, bring home your Mahi Mahi or tuna catch, and our chef will create an a special Costa Rican fish dinner.
Volcanos
What is more mysterious, or has more majesty than one of natures wonders: The Volcano. Costa Rica is well known for its volcanos…..some of which are still very active. You can walk up to the edge of a crater only 250 yards from your car, and view the lake at the bottom of the crater. Continue the trip to the active volcanos and experience a dip in the natural mineral hot springs… It is all a days adventure you will not forget.
